I’ve grown a lot as a dog owner with BFTD. Learning to respect my dog and to work with the dog that I have not the one I wished I had. Ody loves every single person that comes to pick him up for hikes. Every class that I’ve taking with Hannalore, Theresa, or anyone of the team is always super instructive and engaging. I’m super proud how far Ody has come with his reactivity. All of the hard work that this team puts into building relationships with their clients and the dogs really shows in the outcome and the progress these dogs make. I never imagine I could take Ody on a busy street with tons of dogs and people. Is he still a brat? You bet! But now I have the confidence to stand up for him and to help him navigate this tricky situations. Thanks all..

Adopted my service dog in training through BFTD & have met so many wonderful, caring folks through this org! The five star review is seconded by my pup who does happy bunny hops every time she comes to day school or sees one of the trainers for a lesson 🙂 Even group classes have opportunities for individual instruction catered to the human and the dog, too, as every trainer I’ve seen for groups will check in and help adjust the handler or take a moment with the dog.

I am incredibly impressed with Boston for the Dogs! I have used 1:1 lessons, structured day school, practice in the park group class and canine good citizen training class. They even came to our house for a lesson to work on better behavior with a neighbor’s dog. The trainers are amazing – experienced, clear, well-organized, supportive, non-judgmental and fun. Group classes are excellent. Our 110 lb Newfie has made huge progress and loves going to school. Thank you, BFTD
